WMS operational use cases

Show WMS-related operating questions through approved NetSuite information.

Xillix can build a NetSuite Scoreboard when the required warehouse information is reliably available through approved NetSuite reporting.

A useful fit when

  • WMS-related data needed for the question is represented in NetSuite searches
  • Warehouse reports are repeatedly checked or manually summarized
  • The team needs a shared screen rather than another dense result list

Scoreboard overview

Keep the system boundary clear

This is not an independent WMS reporting platform. Xillix does not promise a direct connector to every warehouse system or access to every field.

The scope begins and ends with customer-approved NetSuite information, reporting definitions, and scoreboard pages that can be reconciled from those results.

Consider this service when

  • WMS-related data needed for the question is represented in NetSuite searches
  • Warehouse reports are repeatedly checked or manually summarized
  • The team needs a shared screen rather than another dense result list
  • Local statuses, locations, and exceptions have customer owners

What Xillix can build

A focused NetSuite scoreboard for the question your team keeps checking.

The first useful output is chosen around the audience, screen, and approved NetSuite information confirmed during discovery.

NetSuite warehouse scoreboard

A browser view based on approved NetSuite information for the agreed WMS-related question.

Status and exception pages

Customer-defined queues or conditions organized for recurring review.

Data-as-of communication

A visible timestamp that helps viewers understand the age of the current snapshot.

Source documentation

Mapped searches, fields, formulas, filters, and reconciliation notes.

Decision support

Design the view around the question it needs to answer.

A scoreboard can point to a queue, pattern, or exception. The operating team still owns the investigation and action.

Work in queue

Show approved counts or short queues by stage, location, or age.

Exceptions

Surface records matching a customer-defined condition for human review.

Operating cadence

Keep the latest available snapshot visible between NetSuite updates.

Approved inputs

Start with the NetSuite information and definitions your team trusts.

Xillix confirms ownership, fields, calculations, filters, permissions, business rules, and timing before treating a result as scoreboard-ready.

NetSuite reports containing the required warehouse information

Local WMS process, status, location, and exception definitions

Customer-approved roles, fields, and display audiences

Representative results for reconciliation

Two separate timers

NetSuite data refresh and scoreboard page rotation are independent.

Changing the page does not query NetSuite again. Each page uses the latest available NetSuite snapshot until the next scheduled data update completes.

Data refresh

Standard configurations are designed to receive updated NetSuite results approximately every 15-20 minutes. Exact completion may vary slightly with NetSuite processing and reporting complexity.

Page rotation

Scoreboard pages may rotate every 20-60 seconds, or at another configured interval, while showing the latest available NetSuite snapshot and its data-as-of time.

Project path

Begin with one useful NetSuite question.

A focused pilot makes reporting definitions and display requirements visible before the project expands.

  1. Define

Choose the WMS-related question and intended audience.

  2. Verify

Confirm the required information is reliably returned through NetSuite reporting.

  3. Design

Build pages for the chosen browser displays and viewing distance.

  4. Reconcile

Validate the scoreboard against approved NetSuite results before launch.

Frequently asked questions

Does Xillix replace our WMS?

Can every WMS field be displayed?

No. The required information must be reliably returned through customer-approved NetSuite reporting.

What is the standard update timing?

Standard scoreboard configurations are designed to receive updated NetSuite results approximately every 15-20 minutes. Exact completion may vary slightly because of NetSuite processing, reporting complexity, and the agreed implementation.
